Gary and Nirmala have been dancing and teaching tango for over 20 years. They have studied with an uncounted number of teachers, working with almost all of the dozens of Argentine tangueros who have come through the Bay Area the past several years, taking from each what seemed best and most suitable to them. Most recently they took the week-long intensive class for teachers given by Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne in Buenos Aires and many hours of workshops and private lessons with Luciana Valle.

In their teaching, Gary and Nirmala emphasize elegance, musicality, variety, fun and practical moves for use in social dancing.

Don't forget to join us at the Monte Cristo Club Milonga every Friday except the last Friday of each month. Gary & Nirmala host a beginning class at 7:00 pm and an intermediate class at 8:00 pm, followed by dancing from 9:00 to midnight.
